In this section, an RCT which hasattained IRB approval can be viewed and/or downloaded as a PDF document andprinted by potential collaborators. Thispage also facilitates the online discussion of an IRB-Approved RCT. In this section the IRB–approved RCTdocuments can be viewed, downloaded and printed as PDF files by potentialcollaborators. If a potentialcollaborator wants to participate as a research center in a multicenter RCT, heor she will be able to formally make a request to the Principal Investigator(PI) to participate in the multicenter RCT as a co-investigator. An approved co-investigator can re-submit the IRB-Approved documentsto the IRB for site-specific approval as a participating site. Each IRB-approved RCT will have its ownpage on iiResearch.org containing bothlinks to RCT documents as well as a Discussion Area accessible to bothresearchers and the public. TheDiscussion Area is intended to enhance communication amongst researchers, aswell as between researchers and the public, via comments, feedback andsuggestions. This site is not meant to manage aclinical trial. Smaller trials canoften be managed with direct personal communication between collaborators. For larger clinical trials there are severalsophisticated RCT management software programs which can help in managing an RCT. |
